1. Máy thở khí dung là gì?

3. Hướng dẫn sử dụng máy thở khí dung đúng cách
- Bước 1: Chuẩn bị máy. Đặt máy trên bề mặt cứng. Kiểm tra xem bộ lọc gió có sạch không. Nếu bị bẩn, hãy rửa sạch bằng nước lạnh và để khô trong không khí. Cắm điện vào máy.

- Bước 4: Người bệnh cần ngồi thẳng để phổi được giãn ra để kết quả điều trị bệnh được tốt hơn. Trong trường hợp người bệnh dùng mặt nạ thì chỉnh dây thắt và tư thế đeo cho vừa mặt.
Trẻ đủ lớn thì nên khuyến khích trẻ ngồi thẳng người, hít thở bình thường.Còn đối với trẻ nhỏ thì cần phải bế ở tư thế ngồi thẳng rồi yêu cầu người bệnh thở sâu và chậm rãi qua miệng để thuốc có thể lắng đọng trong đường hô hấp.
- Bước 5: Chỉ nên dùng máy thở khí dung tối đa từ 5 – 15 phút. Trong khi khí dung, thuốc có thể bám vào thành cốc đựng thuốc, lúc này hãy gõ hoặc lắc nhẹ cốc cho các giọt này rơi xuống. Khi không thấy sương phun ra nữa và máy phát ra âm thanh phù phù thì tắt máy đi.
4. Lưu ý khi sử dụng máy thở khí dung
Khi sử dụng máy thở khí dung người bệnh cần phải lưu ý một số điều sau:
- Khám và sử dụng thuốc để xông khí dung theo chỉ định của bác sĩ chuyên khoa. - Tuân thủ cách dùng máy thở khí dung đúng cách và cách pha thuốc, vì nếu pha không đúng liều lượng thì các hạt phun sương sẽ không đúng kích thước, đồng thời sẽ không tác dụng vào bên trong hoặc bám vào thành họng.

5. Cách vệ sinh máy thở khí dung

- Ngâm chúng trong dung dịch do bác sĩ cung cấp hoặc sử dụng một phần giấm trắng và ba phần nước nóng.
- Để ống thở, hộp đựng thuốc ngâm trong một giờ, hoặc lâu hơn như được liệt kê trong hướng dẫn.
- Lấy các bộ phận ra và để khô trong không khí hoặc kết nối lại máy để làm khô chúng.
